HSLB seeks short biographies of people identifying as women who reflect the diverse ethnic, cultural, and geographic community of greater Long Beach: Stories of ordinary women who led extraordinary lives or participated in movements that positively affected local communities or the position of women in the world; Hidden histories of women who were barrier breakers in their careers, communities, government, politics, and other areas; Histories of local women living or deceased.
